Live Better AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
To build and personalize your meal plans, we collect:
- Account details — your name and email address.
- Meal-planning profile — the answers you give during setup: household size and members, cooking preferences, budget, and your food preferences and dietary restrictions and allergies. Allergen information is health-adjacent and we treat it with care; it is used only to keep unsafe ingredients out of your plans.
- Body statistics and goals — if you provide them, figures such as height, weight, activity level, and calorie or weight goals, used to size your plans.
- Images you upload — photos of a fridge, a receipt, or a recipe you import. These are processed to extract items or recipe details and are not used for any other purpose.
- Usage data — your plans, saved recipes, swipes, and inventory, so the product can remember your taste and pantry.
How we use your information
We use your information to build and personalize meal plans and grocery lists, remember your taste and pantry, process payments, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
To deliver the service we share data with a small set of processors:
- Payment processing (Stripe). Stripe handles your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- AI providers. To generate and match plans we send relevant, non-identifying inputs (such as your preferences and constraints) to AI providers. We do not send your name or email for this purpose.
- Recipe providers. Recipes and photos are sourced from third-party recipe data providers.
- Grocery export. When you export a grocery list, only the list items you choose to send — ingredient names, quantities, and units — are shared with the grocery service you send them to. We do not send your name, email, or account details.
- Infrastructure. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers under their security controls.
Cookies and advertising
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and similar third-party advertising and analytics cookies to measure how our ads perform and to reach people who might like Live Better AI. These trackers load only after you accept them. On your first visit we ask, and nothing loads until you choose “Accept.” If you decline, no advertising or analytics cookies are set and the Meta Pixel is never loaded.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you haven’t decided yet, choose “Decline” on the banner. If you already accepted, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser — that removes the saved choice and shows the prompt again, where you can decline. Data shared with Meta through the pixel is also governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely and access is restricted. Each account can only see its own data. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time — account deletion is available in your settings, and you can also contact us at support@livebetterai.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, plans, and uploaded content.
