Welcome to Live Better AI (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Live Better AI, you agree to these Terms of Service.

What Live Better AI is

Live Better AI is a meal-planning service. It builds weekly meal plans from real recipes, scales them to your household, and produces a consolidated grocery list you can export or send to an online grocery service. Recipes are sourced from third-party recipe providers; nutrition figures are estimates.

Not medical or nutritional advice

Live Better AI is a planning tool, not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Calorie, macro, and other nutrition figures are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always verify ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs before cooking or eating, and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary decisions.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use paid features.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Who charges you — and where you cancel — depends on where you subscribed.

If you subscribed in the iPhone app

Apple sells the subscription and bills your Apple Account. The price and currency are the ones Apple shows you on the purchase screen. That screen is the authority, not this page: prices differ by country and Apple can change them. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and again within 24 hours before each renewal unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours beforehand. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions; in the app, Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription takes you there.

We cannot cancel or refund an App Store subscription for you — only Apple can. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and the decision is Apple’s. Deleting your Live Better AI account does not stop Apple’s billing, so cancel with Apple first.

If you subscribed on our website

We bill you on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time in your account settings, under Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial that starts on your first use of the meal planner. No payment method is required, nothing is charged during or after it, and it never turns into a paid subscription on its own. When the trial ends, new plan creation pauses; you keep access to your most recent plan and its grocery list. To continue planning, you subscribe at the price shown at checkout or on the App Store purchase screen, which is charged immediately and renews automatically each period until you cancel. If a subscription ever starts with a free trial or introductory offer from the App Store, it becomes a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that offer ends. We may email you a reminder before your trial ends. Free trials are limited to one per person.

Your content and uploads

You may upload images (for example, of your fridge or a receipt) and import recipes. You are responsible for the content you provide and confirm you have the right to use it. We process these inputs only to provide the service.

Third-party services

Live Better AI works with third parties to deliver its features — including recipe providers, an online grocery-ordering integration, Apple’s App Store and our payment processor for billing, and AI providers that help generate and match plans. Your use of any third-party service reached through Live Better AI is governed by that service’s own terms.

Affiliate links and trademarks

When you send your grocery list to Instacart from Live Better AI, we may earn a commission if you place an order, at no extra cost to you. This affiliate relationship does not change the price you pay or the recipes and quantities we recommend.

Instacart® is a registered trademark of Maplebear Inc. d/b/a Instacart. Live Better AI is an independent service and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Instacart beyond the grocery-ordering integration described above.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break security, scrape at scale, resell access, or interfere with other users. We may suspend accounts that do.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Live Better AI is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on nutrition estimates, recipe data, or grocery quantities.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
